The Maison Bonnet which is located in the Jardins du Palais Royal in Paris is world renowned for their tortoise shell glasses. Since the 1930’s Maison Bonnet have been making custom made glasses made from tortoise shells and most notably worn by Yves Saint Laurent, Aristotle Onassis, and Jackie Kennedy. Each pair of Maison Bonnet glasses are made using one tortoise shell to maintain the same color through all components of the glasses. The glasses can either be fitted with optometrist lenses or lenses for protection against the sun, Maison Bonnet can also custom build glasses tailored specifically for ones face.

This series of shirts directly from Farinelli’s founder, Mauro, strikes a – let’s say – familiar tone with us. Unassumingly titled, Wolf vs. Goat, this debut hits a sweet spot in the woven shirt arena.

We admire the fact that they are made in the US of A, but it’s the hand lathed mother-of-pearl buttons (gotta check these out up close!) and a nicely understated, yet convenient stash/doobie pocket are details not only the wearer will appreciate. Sounds like they’re in limited supply, as well. $165

WALLPAPER x VICTORINOX

Victorinox announces an exclusive creative partnership with the official authority of design, Wallpaper* magazine, launching at London Design Festival 2009.

Entitled 'Wallpaper Cuts', its a collab between Wallpaper magazine and Victorinox. Three Limited Ed. models were made, featuring designs by Wallpaper* and up and coming artists James Joyce and Jamie Cullen, will go on sale exclusively at the Victorinox Flagship store on New Bond Street from 21st September.

Wallpaper Art Director Meirion Pritchard comments: "The Swiss Army Knife is a true design icon. Our aim was to create an elemental design that expressed the beauty of its craftsmanship and function in a visual and tactile way."

All three models retail at £70 each and are limited to just 100 pieces each.

Spun from Suvin Gold Cotton farmed in India, Japanese retail genius Tomorrowland has produced this navy sweatshirt exclusively for us. Made in Japan's traditional 1920s machines, they come with navy-and-white striping on the cuff, neck and waist and there are only 40 available in each size.
