Manny "Pac Man" Pacquia ... you don't really need to be a boxing fan to know who he is. Manny takes on former champ Joshua Clottey this weekend. Safe to say that our money is on the 7 time world champ (Manny).
Check out this video from GQ (article HERE): What do you get when you cross Muhammad Ali, Sly Stallone, Vaclav Havel, Michael Vick, Che Guevara, & Clay Aiken? Manny Pacquiao.
An incredible achievement - Using around 3,000 still images, Andersen M Studio has animated an extract from Maurice Gee's novel, Going West, for the New Zealand Book Council...
"The entire film is handmade, using only 10A scalpel blades and paper," explains Martin Andersen. "It was photographed on two SLR cameras and lit using Dedo lights."

The Baxter crew are fight fans. So naturally the HBO 24/7 program is a must see for us. During training for his upcoming fight against Pretty Boy Floyd, Marquez goes the extra mile for the edge(?).
wiki claims it aint gonna really help you J.M. But we are pulling for an upset.
Fixed Boxing: Here is your perfect example of how a ref can fix a fight. Bute won most rounds of the fight - but ... Adrate a great inside fighter, was never allowed to fight on the inside - the ref works against Andrade and protects the hometown Bute. OK, this can happen at times, and its left to the fighter to adjust and work around the ref ... but at the end of this fight, the true "fix" comes out. Andrade dominates Bute in the final round ... taking it to Bute to the point that Bute is basically held up by the ropes and no stoppage from the ref ... finally (seen in this clip) Bute goes down and the ref decides to stop in the middle of his count to instruct Andrade to stay in his corner - problem is that Andrade WAS in his corner! All this extra time allows the ref to take a 10 count into the final bell to ring and secure a win for Bute.
I say FORMER IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (23-0, 18 KOs) (22-1, 18 KOs)
